The 55″ LG 55LM4700 3D TV is my second LG television and I’ve been enjoying every minute of it. There wasn’t any real LG 55LM4700 reviews when I was considering this one but going on my experience with LG I knew it had to be good. LG is known for their great LED displays and this TV is a prime example of that technology(I was also considering the smaller brother 47″ LG 47LM4700). Being my first 3D TV I’m glad I decided to go with it as I’m getting a lot more use out of it than I originally thought I would.

Why I Chose the LG 55LM4700
There were a couple of key specs that I was looking for when I bought the LG 55LM4700. It had to be big, at least 47 inches, have 3D, and a beautiful picture. Notice how I wasn’t looking for a smart TV as I already have access to internet apps through my blu-ray player. I suggest if you’re looking for internet apps to go the blu-ray player route as you can save a considerable amount of money by not buying a smart TV.
In terms of image quality LG is a leader in the industry and it’s clearly evident with the LG 55LM4700. Everything is absolutely crystal clear on this thing whether it’s 2D or 3D. It really produces a vivid image and I still can’t get over it. The TV set itself is a really sleek looking piece of tech and looks great in the living room.
Who This TV is For
I really feel as though the LG 55LM4700 is for that person who wants exceptional picture quality which means both 2D and 3D. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but when it comes down to what it’s supposed to do(looking good) it does it’s job just perfectly. Anyone considering this television would be smart to buy it.
